Cues for murder - excitement - suspense!"; "A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing!"; "Based on a story by Charles Bennett and D.B. Wyndham Lewis"; "Screenplay by John Michael Hayes") starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Doris Day, Brenda De Banzie, Bernard Miles, Ralph Truman, Daniel Gelin, Reggie Nalder, Richard Wattis, Alexis Bobrinskoy, and Christopher Olsen. Note that this is a re-make of Hitchcock's 1934 English film of the same name, but with quite a few differences and it includes Doris Day singing "Que Sera, Sera", which became a huge hit! Military one-sheets were printed at the same time as the regular U.S. one-sheets when the movie was first released. They were made to be used on U.S. military installations. Sometimes the poster has small writing at the bottom that says "For Distribution and Use at U.S. Military Establishments Only", and sometimes they just have "Litho in U.S.A." or "Printed in U.S.A." in small letters in the lower right or lower left (most often, the ones that were used in the 1950s in the Korean War have "Litho in U.S.A.", and the ones that were used in the 1960s in the Vietnam War have "Printed in U.S.A.). This is one of the posters that says "For Distribution and Use at U.S. Military Establishments Only". Condition: good. There is light rippling and discoloration throughout the poster from exposure to moisture. There is a tear at lower center.
