An Original Vintage Autographed Deluxe 5" x 7" [13 x 18 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Joseph Cotten was an actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. He often worked with Orson Welles and some of his movies include: Citizen Kane, The Third Man, Touch of Evil, Duel in the Sun, Shadow of a Doubt, and Portrait of Jenny. While he never achieved top rank fame, he did note that "Orson Welles lists Citizen Kane as his best film, Alfred Hitchcock opts for Shadow of a Doubt and Sir Carol Reed chose The Third Man - and I'm in all of them." He passed away in 1994 at the age of 88. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Joseph Cotten! Also note that this fan photo measures 5" x 7" [13 x 18 cm] and is printed on a deluxe double weight paper stock. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of the items from this consignor we are auctioning were purchased by this dealer from longtime dealers and collectors, and we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic! Condition: very good. The beginning of the inscription is smudged, but otherwise, the photo and autograph are in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
