A 1948 Re-Release Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Fighting Sixty-Ninth (69th), the 1940 William Keighley World War I (WWI) New York-Irish soldiers military melodrama ("Anybody can start a fight... but here are the guys who can finish it!"; about an every-man-for-himself soldier whose selfishness leads to much cowardice) starring James Cagney, Pat O'Brien, George Brent, Jeffrey Lynn, Alan Hale Sr., Frank McHugh, Dennis Morgan, Dick Foran, William Lundigan, Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams, Henry O'Neill, and John Litel NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that for the 1940 first release of this movie George Brent was given billing equal to that of James Cagney and Pat O'Brien, but by the end of the 1940s Brent's career was in decline and he was dropped by Warner Bros. Dennis Morgan, who was seventh billed in the movie's first release was still with the studio and now a star, so he replaced George Brent's billing on posters for the 1948 and 1956 re-release posters! Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. There are many tiny dot stains scattered throughout the card. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card. Learn More about condition grades
