An Original 1968 Vintage Theatrical Folded French Movie Poster (measures 31 1/2" x 47") (Learn More) Un Chien Andalou (released in the U.S. as "An Andalusian Dog"), the classic 1929 Luis Bunuel silent French fantasy short starring Salvador Dali, Pierre Batcheff, Simone Mareuil, Luis Bunuel, Robert Hommet, and Fano Messan. Note that this is the movie which contains one of the most disturbing images ever shown on screen, that of a man slitting a woman's eye with a straight razor (if you have ever seen it, you have not forgotten it!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that, although this classic short movie was made in France in 1928, it was never officially released there at that time, and there are no French posters from 1928, due to its very controversial images. Finally, in 1968, it was given a release in France, and this poster was the one created for that first French 1968 release! Also note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie! Finally, note that this poster contains an unclothed woman, so we have placed a white bar over that area, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual poster does not have that white bar! Condition: fine. There are some creases along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster, but it is generally in pretty good condition. Learn More about condition grades
