Beau Geste, the classic 1939 William A. Wellman Northern Africa French Foreign Legion military war family relationship melodrama ("Gary Cooper is back at his fighting best in the most thrilling film of the Foreign Legion"; "Based on the Novel by Percival Christopher Wren"; about three brothers who all end up in the French Foreign Legion, serving together in the exact same location in North Africa) starring Gary Cooper (in the title role as Michael 'Beau' Geste), Ray Milland, Robert Preston, Brian Donlevy (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Susan Hayward (in her second credited movie role!), J. Carrol Naish, Donald O'Connor, James Stephenson, Heather Thatcher, and G.P. Huntley

Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10 1/2" x 13" [27 x 33 cm].

Condition: fair to good. The card was unevenly trimmed on the bottom and right borders and now measures 10 1/2" x 13". There is an Australian rating snipe glued to the top left. There are pinholes, creases, stains, and tears around the edges. There is a long crease in the lower right and some smudges scattered throughout the card. Certainly, a talented restorer could paperback the card and perform restoration, and it is fortunate that most of the defects are in the blank border areas, but please read our description above and look at our super-sized image before placing a bid on this poster. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
