She is probably best remembered for her role as Jessica Fletcher in TV's "Murder She Wrote". Some of her movies include: Gaslight (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), National Velvet, The Picture Of Dorian Gray (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Manchurian Candidate (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Beauty and the Beast. Oddly, she looked older than her years in her earliest movies, but then she pretty much stopped aging, for several decades! She passed away in 2022 at the age of 96. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Angela Lansbury! Our consignor obtained this autograph years ago in a group of purchases, and they do not remember anymore about it than that, except that they felt it was authentic at that time, and so do we.
