An Original Vintage Autographed Radio Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 30 pages) (Learn More) Incredible Lady, the 1939 Conrad Nagel American radio show starring Carole Lombard. Lombard appeared in several radio shows between 1939 and her untimely passing in 1942, and this was one of them. We found reference to this radio show being " an original play concerning the future" and it was written by Therese Lewis and William Bowers. Glancing through the script, it is clear that Lombard plays a young lady who has visions of the future. Something unusual about the script is that it contains the lines for the commercials for the show, and even has scripted dialog between star Carole Lombard and director Conrad Nagel (we imagine the commercials were included in the script because this script came from the archives of the sponsor of the show). If anyone knows more about this play, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this script has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Conrad Nagel AND Carole Lombard! It was found in the archives of the advertising sponsor of the show, and the sponsor must have asked both the star and the director to sign the first page of the script. The script also has pencil corrections of the dialog in many places scattered throughout, which makes it seem likely that it was an actual script used by one of the cast members. Also note that this script is the first revision draft from November 19, 1939 and that the screenplay was written by Therese Lewis and William Bowers. Condition: very good to fine. The script was professionally bound by the advertising sponsor of the show. It has some minor wear but is generally in nice condition. Note that the script also has pencil corrections of the dialog in many places scattered throughout, which makes it seem likely that it was an actual script used by one of the cast members.
