If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that Japanese movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single Japanese movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned this poster! Note also that, immediately after World War II, the U.S. occupied Japan and part of Germany, and many American movies were shown in both countries between 1945 and the end of the occupation. Most of the Japanese posters we have seen from that period and many of the German posters and programs from the same period have a "Motion Picture Export Association" (MPEA) circular printed logo on the poster or program, and apparently this was a program run in conjunction with the U.S. government. Since there were many U.S. servicemen in Japan and Germany at this time, many of these posters and programs have the title written in both Japanese (or German) and in English. Condition: good to very good. The poster has tiny dot stains, creases and tiny tears along portions of some edges (see our image). There is tiny writing at upper left in the blank border. It has a large diagonal crease at upper center and some light and fine creases scattered in the poster. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
