And the blonde he used to bait his deadly trap!"; "'You're going too far this time, Torno... The law is breathing down your neck!'"; "Raft is on the prowl for big game... With luscious Virginia Mayo as his 'killer bait'!"; "There's trouble ahead!"; about the owner of a trucking company who sends an embezzling employee to prison; the employee wants revenge, and he gets someone to kill the owner's brother, who is a priest, and as he is dying, he says that "the answer is in the Bible", and the owner thinks he means a Biblical reference, but actually, he has literally hid something in a physical Bible!) starring George Raft (as John Torno), Virginia Mayo, Gene Lockhart, Barton MacLane, Raymond Burr, Harry Morgan (billed as "Henry Morgan"), William Frawley, and Arthur Shields NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the back of this card was overprinted with a solid rectangular border with interior dimensions of 8" x 10". This was commonly done in the 1950s so that old lobby cards could be re-used as "frames" for 8x10 stills. This IS an original lobby card, and since the overprinting on the back does not affect the front, most collectors consider it a minor defect.
