An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) When My Baby Smiles at Me, the 1948 Walter Lang family relationship romantic musical ("From the play by George Manker Watters & Arthur Hopkins"; "Produced by George Jessel"; about a pair of burlesque vaudeville performers who achieve great success, but that ironically causes the husband to become a heavy drinker, which creates many problems) starring Betty Grable, Dan Dailey (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Jack Oakie, June Havoc, Richard Arlen, James Gleason, George Jessel, and Noel Neill NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases and tiny tears on parts of some foldlines. There were some creases, smudges, and small tears around the edges of the poster. There was a tiny area of paper loss in the left of the top horizontal foldline in Grable's chin. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see slight signs of the restoration in the chin of Grable.
