Note that fantasy artist H.R. Giger did the wonderful art that was used to create the alien and the alien planet, but his art was not used on any of the regular posters, only on special prints created after the movie became a hit! Starting sometime in the late 70's, both the National Screen Service and the movie studios would sometimes print posters for the same film. Both posters would have the same images and art but the studio-printed posters would lack the NSS identification information normally found at the bottom of posters printed by the National Screen Service. The poster offered here was printed by 20th Century Fox, lacks NSS information and is 100% original! Condition: good to very good. There are tiny stains in the dark background at upper left. There is small paper loss in the lower right blank corner of the poster. There are a few very minor creases scattered throughout the poster, but they are not very noticeable or distracting and the poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
