Important Added Info: Note that it is common for movie posters to "exaggerate", and sometimes "stretch the truth", but this Belgian poster takes it to new limits! It credits Stephen King (author of Carrie and The Shining) and special effects by Tom Sullivan (American Werewolf), but Stephen King was not involved with this movie (although he was quoted on the U.S. one-sheet) and Tom Sullivan did NOT work on American Werewolf in London! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had some tiny bits of surface paper loss on the fold and some small creases around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Something happened while the poster was being backed, and there are two tiny areas by the man's hair that are slightly "lifting" from the linen (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
