Artist: Gustav Rehberger Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny creases and fine surface paper loss on parts of the folds. Either before or after the poster was backed, it had significant scuff marks in the middle right, extending over Welles' face. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking (depending on when the scuffing occurred). The poster was backed with no restoration, and after it was backed, it acquired faint brown stains around the edges, more so down the right border, mostly in the excess linen.
