An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" [21 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Tala Birell was a Romanian actress from 1920s to the 1950s. Some of her movies include: Bringing Up Baby, The Song of Bernadette, The Captain Hates the Sea, The Purple Hart, and Mrs. Parkington. After retiring from films in 1948, Birell entertained G.I. troops stationed overseas, until her retirement and subsequent death from cancer in 1958. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Tala Birell! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" [21 x 26 cm]. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Condition: good. The still was neatly trimmed around the edges (the trimming cut into the inscription at top left). There is a crease at bottom right that was repaired with tape from the back (and someone colored in the tiny surface paper loss on the front with black marker). Learn More about condition grades
