An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded English One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27 3/4" x 42" [70 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) Aunts, Too Many!, the 1913 Edward Dillon silent comedy short ("You've got me hypnotized"; about a man who is bored of being kept at home so he unexpectedly departs so he can fulfill his dream of horseback riding, but no one can find a horse so some local theater performers attempt to fulfill the request by pretending to be a horse, resulting in a very unusual ride!) starring Edward Dillon, Gertrude Bambrick, Gus Pixley, James Harris, and Joseph Schrode If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned two examples of this poster before! It is an extremely rare pre-World War II English poster! Virtually no English posters survive from the 1940s or earlier, because during World War II there were many paper shortages resulting in the destruction of almost all pre-World War II posters! Also note that this English one-sheet measures 27 3/4" x 42" [70 x 107 cm]. Condition: good. There is significant staining on back of the upper left section where there is also some paper loss in the title area (see our image). There is lighter slight discoloration in some areas, but it is otherwise "mostly all there" and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
