Artist: Drew Struzan Important Added Info: Note that just about everyone knows that this movie was ultimately titled "Return of the Jedi", but that it had the original working title of "Revenge of the Jedi". Teaser posters were made with the working title, and they were made in both a dated and undated version. There are many reproductions of both versions, but we have carefully examined this poster, and we are 100% certain that it is an original undated Revenge of the Jedi" teaser one-sheet (the poster measures slightly differently from other originals, but that is because it was slightly "stretched" during the linenbacking process). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was originally tri-folded only. At some point, it was partially vertically folded at a slight diagonal, resulting in an uneven vertical fold slightly to the left of center (see our image). The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). It had a tiny scratch in the upper left of Vader's helmet and some faint scuffs below that. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
