The Ruling Passion, the 1922 F. Harmon Weight silent family relationship millionaire-retires-but-returns-to-business comedy melodrama ("From Earl Derr Biggers' short story in 'The Saturday Evening Post'") starring George Arliss (in his third movie!), Doris Kenyon, Edmund Burns, Ida Darling, and Jack W. Johnston. Note that when star George Arliss started making sound movies in the 1930s, he mostly remade his biggest hits from the 1920s, and in this case, he remade this movie in 1931 as "The Millionaire" (which had James Cagney's first notable role!).
