An Original Vintage Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Still (Learn More) Ronald Reagan was an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s and who later became the 40th President of the United States! Some of his movies include: Knute Rockne: All American, Kings Row, Dark Victory, and scores of others, but he is far better remembered for his later political career and for his "Reagan Revolution" which transformed politics and brought the Republican party on an equal footing with the Democratic party, after having been dominated by the Democrats for many years! AND Robert Cummings (also known as Bob Cummings) was an actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. He was born Charles Clarence Robert Orville Cummings in Joplin, Missouri in 1910, and he went to drama school and went to New York and passed himself off as a British actor named Blade Stanhope Conway! Amazingly, that worked, and then he went to Hollywood, where he thought they wouldn't want a British actor, so he became Texan Bruce Hutchens! After having a number of small parts in 1935 and 1936, he reverted to his real name, and became a popular comedic actor in the 1930s and 1940s (although he was very memorable in two Alfred Hitchcock movies, "Dial M For Murder" and "Saboteur"), and he is likely best remembered for starring in the extremely popular "The Bob Cummings Show" TV series of the 1950s and 1960s. He was well known for his extremely youthful appearance, which he attributed to eating healthy food and a lot of vitamin supplements. He passed away in 1990 at the age of 80, having had five wives and seven children! AND Louella Parsons was a gossip columnist and radio star from the 1910s to the 1950s. She was the first American movie columnist and her articles appeared in 400 newspapers around the world. Important Added Info: Note that this photo and five others were purchased by our consignor from the collection of celebrity gossip columnist Louella Parsons. When Miss Parsons would interview celebrities for articles, she would have the studios send a name photographer of her choice to that star's home, so that quality pictures could be taken to be used in newspapers that ran the story (in this case, the photo was taken by Madison Lacy). All six of these photos show Miss Parsons together with famous celebrities, and they are being sold in six separate auctions. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good to fine. The still is in very nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
