Synthetic Sin, the 1929 William A. Seiter New York City Broadway theater stage acting romantic comedy ("From the play by Frederic & Fanny Hatton"; about America's leading playwright, who goes to his home town in Virginia and proposes to his girl, but she only agrees to marry him if she can star in his next play, and after she does, and the play flops, the playwright tells her she wasn't sophisticated enough, which makes her decide to stay in New York by herself; she rents an apartment next to gangsters and almost gets herself and her husband killed, but everything works out in the end) starring Colleen Moore, Antonio Moreno, Edythe Chapman, Kathryn McGuire, and Gertrude Howard

Important Added Info: There is surface paper loss and scuffing at lower right in the woman in black face's image. There is rippling and stains as well as some discoloration throughout the card from water staining. There are three 1/4" holes in the title at lower left. There is a 6" tear in the lower right corner of the card extending into the woman in black face's legs as well as some paper loss in the right blank corners and some 2" and smaller tears around the edges of the card. There is a diagonal crease in the upper right corner as well as smudges, scuffs, and some minor creases throughout the card. There is a theater name and play date snipe in the blank area at the top of the card. Please do not bid on this window card unless you can accept its defects or are willing to have it restored!
