Hewitt art of a worker using a machine to flatten a composition of Japanese Emperor Hirohito and German leader Adolf Hitler. Note that Roeblin's Sons Co. was founded by the sons of John A. Roebling, a German-born American civil engineer who designed and built wire rope suspension bridges, in particular the Brooklyn Bridge. Roebling's Sons Co. was a massive producer of steel wire, located in Trenton, New Jersey, and it had a huge facility starting during World War I, but in recent decades, it fell into disuse. There is a museum on that location and efforts have been made to renovate the surrounding area. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Robert G. Hewitt Condition: good to very good.
