Flowing Gold, the 1924 Joseph De Grasse silent oil drilling romantic adventure melodrama ("Richard Walton Tully presents his screen version"; "Afloat in a river of burning oil"; "When the oil wells burst aflame two hearts found happiness in the fight against death --- an epic of oil from the pen of the famous novelist, Rex Beach, and declared to be a greater picture ever than 'The Spoilers.' A story filled with dynamic action, adventure, romance --- and a wondrous love mid the frenzy of the oil fields."; based on "The Famous novel by Rex Beach") starring Anna Q. Nilsson, Milton Sills, Alice Calhoun, Crauford Kent, and John Roche. Note that this movie was remade in 1940 with John Garfield and Frances Farmer in the lead roles!

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. It had a few tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss in the top quarter of the vertical foldline and an 8" vertical tear starting at the top crossfold and running just to the left of the vertical foldline. It had a triangle of paper loss in the center of the top blank border, slightly extending into the edge of the border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
