A 1949 Re-Release Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) St. Martin's Lane (released in the U.S. in 1940 as "Sidewalks of London"), the 1938 Tim Whelan English London England street performer beggars acting romantic comedy ("They sing for pennies"; about "buskers", who were street performers in London, and an old performer meets a beautiful young pickpocket, and he convinces her to join his act, and then she catches the eye of a rich man, who does not know she previously robbed him, and he wants to take her away from her current life) starring Charles Laughton, Vivien Leigh, Rex Harrison, Larry Adler, Tyrone Guthrie, Maire O'Neill, Gus McNaughton, and Polly Ward NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this 1949 re-release title card, and that was 16 years ago! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are creases, tears, and a few stains around the edges, with paper loss in the top left blank corner.
