An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 5 1/2" x 8" [14 x 20 cm]) (Learn More)

Loew's Warfield Newsette, the 4-page digest size magazine that was given out by the Loew's Warfield Theatre in the 1920s and 1930s. It is very similar to the "West Coast Theatres Newsette" that was published around the same time, and each issue of that magazine had illustrated articles about then current movies and the current programs for some prominent west coast theaters. THIS magazine is slightly different in that it is for one specific theater, and it includes the program for a specific week in addition to a bunch of news stories and images. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Important Added Info: Note that this cool issue of this 4-page digest magazine (see above for more about it) has two lengthy articles about Buster Keaton, advertising his movie "Sherlock Jr.", which wasn't yet playing at the theater! The cover article tells about the movie with a great image of Keaton from the movie, and the back cover has articles about Keaton's father and articles about Keaton himself, with a geat image of Keaton (see our images). We would imagine this magazine is incredibly rare! We sold a similar magazine (the February 11, 1928 issue of West Coast Theatres Newsette) with a great article about the Marx Brothers, and that magazine sold for $655!

Condition: good to very good.
