When they tried to bully him, he resisted. When they tried to break him, he became an American legend. The true story of Preston Tucker."; produced by George Lucas ; based on a true story about Preston Tucker, who created a drastically different and improved type of car, but circumstances beyond his control prevented more than a small number of them from ever being produced) starring Jeff Bridges (in the title role as Preston Tucker), Joan Allen, Martin Landau (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Dean Stockwell, Frederic Forrest, Mako, Christian Slater, and Lloyd Bridges. Note that it is common knowledge that George Lucas got much help from his great friend (and at that time much more successful director) Francis Ford Coppola early in his career. When this movie was made many years later, their fortunes had reversed, and Lucas helped his old friend by producing this movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Laurent Durieux Important Added Info: It was originally auctioned in eMoviePoster.com's November 2020 "all-Mondo" auction. There were four prints that were not sold, and this is one of those four, and it will now sell to the high bidder. There are also 16 other Mondo art prints that were not included in the November auction, but are being auctioned now, and just as with the November auctions, all of the proceeds from these 20 prints will go to benefit the Alamo Drafthouse employees.
