An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 7 1/4" x 9 1/2" [18 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Rin Tin Tin is the most famous dog canine star ever! This German Shepherd was rescued in France at the end of World War I by U.S. Air Corporal Lee Duncan. He made his first movie in 1923, and by 1926, he was Warner Bros.' #1 star, and he made a total of 28 movies. He passed away in 1932 at the age of 13. One of his sons was quickly dubbed "Rin Tin Tin, Jr." and he starred in a number of films, but he was not the equal of his famous father. Rin Tin Tin was the most successful canine star of all time! Important Added Info: Note that this still appears to have been personally autographed (signed) by Rin-Tin-Tin. There is actual ink on the photo, so it really was signed, but we know that while Rin Tin Tin could do many things (far more than any other dog), he could NOT write in cursive, so there is zero chance that he actually signed this still. We suspect that the studio might have sent stills like this to people who sent fan letters to this legendary canine star! But please do not bid on this thinking it was signed by Rin Tin Tin himself! Also note that this still measures 7 1/4" x 9 1/2" [18 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: good to very good. There are creases in the bottom center, with a scuff that enters Rin Tin Tin's snout. There are smudges around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
