The book included information about the school's administration, classes, organizations, sports, humor, music and drama Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this really cool yearbook! It is from North Hollywood High School in California, and like all yearbooks, it focuses on the graduating senior class. Clearly someone who was a student in that class took it around and got signatures from dozens of their classmates, most of them by their picture. But what makes this incredibly cool is that Alan Ladd was a sophomore in this class and Noah Beery Jr. also attended, and both of them signed it. Noah Beery signed on the image of the football team, and he was also given a separate small image identifying him as a guard, and he signed under that. Alan Ladd (who was 16 years old and a sophomore) signed on the image of the swimming team on page 91, AND THERE IS SOMETHING AMAZING ABOUT THAT! Ladd was notably a very short movie star (his height was estimated at 5'4", and he might have been even shorter), and one might have assumed he was sensitive about his height. But he signed the yearbook page above his image as "'Tiny' Ladd", indicating that was clearly his nickname in high school! (see our image). Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signatures are authentic. The yearbook comes with a deluxe 8" x 10" photo of the high school graduating class, but neither Ladd nor Beery were graduating, so they are not pictured. Also note that we have pictured the front cover and several interior 2-page spreads. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
