In the 1940s, she worked for Universal and appeared in some of their horror movies! Some of her movies include: How Sweet It Is, The Lost Tribe, House of Frankenstein, and Rainbow Island. She is likely best remembered for her role as "Consuelo" on TV's "Marcus Welby, M.D." in the 1970s. She was married to Charles Marion, who was a writer at Universal in the 1940s. Verdugo passed away in 2017 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Elena Verdugo! Our consignor obtained this autograph in person at Classic Filmfest 2000 in Arlington, Virginia on July 28, 2000. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic.
