The Touch of Melissa, the 1972 Don Henderson witch horror thriller ("Was she really what she appeared to be? Or was there a darker side..."; "The Touch of Melissa ...Is the touch of death!"; "To love her is to be cursed!") starring Michael Berry, Emby Mellay (in the title role as Melissa Strickland), Lee Amber, Yvonne Winslow, and Jeanne Gerson. Note that this movie has a confusing history and there is considerable misinformation on IMDB and other sites. The movie was filmed in 1971 and had a limited release in early 1972 with a GP rating under the title The Touch of Melissa. The film was re-released in 1974 with a PG rating under the title of The Touch of Satan, and re-released again in 1980 with an R rating under the title Night of the Demon. Also, many mistakenly believe that Tom Laughlin directed this movie under the name of Don Henderson (which Laughlin has used as a pseudonym), but it was actually directed by a man named Don Henderson!
