(released in the U.S. in 1980 as "Emanuelle Around the World" and in other English-speaking countries as "The Degradation of Emmanuelle"), the 1977 Joe D'Amato Italian sexploitation movie ("Emanuelle's back to take you places you've never been before!"; "X has never been so beautiful!") starring Laura Gemser (in the title role as Emanuelle), Karin Schubert, Ivan Rassimov, Don Powell, and George Eastman. Note that after the success of the 1974 film Emmanuelle, many authorized sequels were created. The success also spawned many "knock-off" Emmanuelle films, which included the name Emmanuelle or its variants in their titles for exploitative reasons, but were not connected to the original series. Important Added Info: Note that in recent months we started auctioning a wonderful collection of sexploitation one-sheets that includes many extremely rare titles from a single collector, and that collection includes lots of folded one-sheets, but also rolled one-sheets, special posters, and some other posters as well. This month there are 76 different rolled posters (all are in separate auctions), and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare rolled posters to your collection, and this consignor only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good. The poster has creases scattered down center and there is a tear at upper left that has been repaired with tape from the back that slightly bleeds through to the front (see our image).
