(released in England simply as "Deadline", for obvious reasons!), the classic 1952 Richard Brooks racketeering expose newspaper editor journalism melodrama ("20th Century-Fox savagely turns the spotlight of truth on revenge killings that shocked a nation!"; also written by Richard Brooks; to my mind the best newspaper movie ever made!) starring Humphrey Bogart, Ethel Barrymore, Kim Hunter, Ed Begley, Warren Stevens, Paul Stewart, Martin Gabel (in a great performance as the crime boss, Rienzi), Joe De Santis (billed as "Joseph De Santis"), Joyce Mackenzie, Audrey Christie, Fay Baker, Jim Backus, Dabbs Greer, Harry Tyler, John Doucette, Parley Baer, and Willis Bouchey NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss on parts of many foldlines and some small paper loss in the right blank border. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking.
