Borcosque romantic melodrama (based on the play by Alexandre Bisson; the story of a mother who gives up her son, and years later becomes involved in his life, without him learning that she is his mother) starring Maria Ladron de Guevara (in the title role as Jaquelina), Jose Crespo, Rafael Rivelles, Juan Martinez Pla, Carmen Rodriguez, and Luis Llaneza. Note that this is a Spanish-language version of 1929's "Madame X" starring Ruth Chatterton. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is an alternate-language version of an English-language movie. It was not uncommon for movies of this era to be released in two (or more) versions. The films would often feature the same sets, props and crew, but would star different actors and may have different directors. One of the more famous examples of this is the 1931 classic Dracula (the English version was filmed during the day, and the Spanish version at night). These lobby cards were printed in the U.S. and intended to be used in areas with large Spanish-speaking populations (such as the American Southwest and California). Condition: good.
