An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) Shack Out on 101, the 1955 Edward Dein California communism Red Menace espionage spy crime thriller ("Four men and a girl!"; "On the shady side of the highway!"; "Story and screenplay by Edward Dein and Mildred Dein"; a wacky story of the regulars at a sleazy diner, but it is right next to an atomic facility, and there are undercover Communist spies in the diner who must be uncovered before they can bring down America!) starring Terry Moore, Frank Lovejoy, Keenan Wynn, Lee Marvin, Jess Barker, and Whit Bissell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. The poster had minor fold and border wear (with some small tears on parts of a few foldlines) and many tiny bits of surface paper loss in the black background at lower left and top right. Because restoration was done to the folds, and some of the tiny bits of surface paper loss, either this occurred after the poster was backed, or the restorer simply stopped touching those areas up (perhaps because the person who hired them canceled the job). The poster was well backed otherwise, and certainly any restorer could touch up those areas in the black background without re-backing the poster. But please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept this unusual defect or are willing to pay to have additional restoration. Learn More about condition grades
