An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 7 1/4" x 9 1/2" [18 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Joe Penner (born Jozsef Pinter) was a Hungarian actor and radio comic from the 1930s to the 1940s. He is completely forgotten today, except by film buffs, but starting in 1933, he had major success as a Jerry Lewis-like slapstick comedian (his trademark line was "Wanna buy a duck?"). Some of his movies include: The Boys from Syracuse, The Life of the Party, and Go Chase Yourself. He passed away in 1941 at the age of 36 from a heart attack Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Joe Penner! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/4" x 9 1/2" [18 x 24 cm]. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. The consignor of this autographed item (and a large number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine. Many of the items he has consigned were purchased from an autograph store that was going out of business when the owner retired, and many of the items he has consigned to this set of auctions come from this purchase. Condition: good to very good. The still was trimmed (no doubt to fit a frame). Learn More about condition grades
