He is best known for playing Billy the Kid in Howard Hughes' version of The Outlaw and some of his other movies include: The Half-Breed, Best of the Badmen, and Rose of Cimarron. He passed away in 1989 at the age of 71. Important Added Info: Note that this letter, which is entirely handwritten, has been personally autographed (signed) by Jack Buetel! Mr. Buetel sent it to Harriet Parsons, who was the daughter of Louella Parsons, and who was a newspaper columnist. It is 100% certain that the letter was entirely handwritten by Jack Buetel and signed by him! He is writing to thank Miss Parsons for a "Keyhole Portrait" column she wrote about him. Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
