An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Herald (measures 5 1/2" x 7" [14 x 18 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More) We Americans, the 1928 Edward Sloman silent Jews-and-other-ethnic-groups-assimilating-into-early-20th-century-America romantic melodrama ("From the successful Broadway play by Milton Herbert Gropper and Max Siegel"; about a Jewish family in pre-World War I New York City; the father is a pants presser, and his daughter works to help support the family, but their son is a ne'er-do-well who does not help at all; after a fight with the father, the daughter is ordered out of the house, and the son enlists in the Army in protest; he dies a hero's death in World War I, and he dies saving the life of a rich heir of a New York family; the heir looks up the family of the soldier who saved him, and promptly falls in love with the daughter, who is now a successful dressmaker; the rich family accepts the girl because her brother saved their son's life while giving his own!) starring George Sidney, George J.
