An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook Covers (measures 13 1/2" x 26 1/2" [34 x 67 cm]; 4 pages; ONLY THE FRONT AND BACK COVERS) (Learn More)

The Good Fairy, the classic 1935 William Wyler romantic love triangle comedy ("Screenplay by Preston Sturges"; based on a French play by Ferenc Molnar, but that play was too racy for 1935 U.S. audiences, and Preston Sturges did a brilliant job of adapting it, changing Sullavan's character from a libertine to an adorable waif who grew up sheltered in an orphanage, and after she meets a rich man who will do anything to help her, she decides to pretend to have a husband, and she picks out a man at random, so she can act as a "good fairy" to him!) starring Margaret Sullavan, Herbert Marshall, Frank Morgan, Reginald Owen, Alan Hale Sr., Eric Blore, June Clayworth, and Beulah Bondi

Important Added Info: Note that only the covers of the pressbook are present (but you get the great full-color image on the cover and the full-color back images of several of the posters. But at this time, Universal experimented with making these massive pressbooks (measuring 13 1/2" x 26 1/2"), and they put great full-color images of the posters on the back. But the experiment did not last too long (likely because these large pressbooks were so unwieldy to send to theaters), but they were great while they lasted (there is one just like this from Bride of Frankenstein, made the same year).

Condition: good, WITH CUTS. Please remember that only the covers are present, and not the rest of the pressbook, which is entirely missing! There are some tears and paper loss around the edges.
