Note that this movie, together with Francois Truffaut's "Les quatre cents coups" began the French "New Wave", which revolutionized film-making, not only in France, but the world over! The poster was never folded. It had a few tiny tears in the right blank border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but it is slightly "lifting" from the bottom blank border. It can still be framed and displayed, or certainly, any restorer could easily re-glue that area without re-backing the poster. Learn More about condition grades
