Uproarious Fun!"; "The Big Musical Show!"; "'Let there be wine, women and song. On second thought... Never mind the wine and the song!'"; about a singer who inherits a department store, and she hires a detective to protect her from its crooked manager) starring The Marx Brothers (Groucho Marx [as Wolf J. Flywheel], Chico Marx [as Ravelli], and Harpo Marx [as Wacky]), Tony Martin, Virginia Grey, Margaret Dumont, Douglass Dumbrille, Marion Martin, Henry Armetta, and Ann Demitrio. Note that the Marx Brothers are billed as the "Marx Bros." on the advertising. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned two examples in all our years of auctioning and the last time was 14 years ago! Note also that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/2" x 18 1/4" [37 x 46 cm]. Finally note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). It has been glued to a thin piece of white paper. There is some rippling and slight discoloration in the poster (due to the glue) and there are a few stains around the edges. There is a partial tax stamp at upper left. The poster could be removed from the thin paper backing and after proper restoration the ultra rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
