Complete Set of 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Lobby Cards (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) White Heat, the classic 1949 Raoul Walsh romantic love triangle crime film noir ("James Cagney in His New Hit from Warner Bros."; "James Cagney is red hot in 'White Heat'"; "His New Hit from Warner Bros."; "Screen Play by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts"; "Suggested by a Story by Virginia Kellogg"; about a psychotic killer who has frequent crippling headaches and although married, has an unnatural closeness to his aged mother) starring James Cagney (in one of his most memorable roles as Cody Jarrett; "in his new Warner hit"), Virginia Mayo (as Verna), Edmond O'Brien, Steve Cochran (as Big Ed), Fred Clark, Margaret Wycherly (unforgettable as the mother, Ma Jarrett, who really really loved her son, in her most memorable role!), John Archer, and Jim Thorpe (the legendary athlete in a cameo role!) The title card has Spanish writing with black marker in the upper left of the red background. There is also a pencil mark to the left of Mayo's credit. Card #2 (Cagney holding up train conductor) has Spanish writing with black marker in the bottom blank area. Card #3 (close-up of Mayo and Cagney looking at each other while Cagney holds the money) has a small area of surface paper loss in the center of the card.
