Thunderous Story of the Men of the Merchant Marine!"; "Based on a story by Guy Gilpatric") starring Humphrey Bogart, Raymond Massey, Alan Hale Sr., Julie Bishop, Dane Clark, and Dick Hogan. Note that Warner Bros. had the nerve to bill this movie as "Bogart's Biggest absolutely!", which even they knew was ridiculous, but they also added "he's back from Casablanca", indicating that they were hoping to get some of the people who loved that movie to come watch this one as well! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at many crossfolds and some tears on parts of some folds. It also had some tears in areas that were not on folds and many creases scattered throughout parts of the poster. There was ink transfer in the bottom center white background area that resulted in some "ghost" letters in that area. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
