Note that fantasy artist H.R. Giger did the wonderful art that was used to create the alien and the alien planet, but his art was not used on any of the regular posters, only on special prints created after the movie became a hit! Also note that this poster is printed on a much heavier than normal paper stock (we don't know why, but it is nice!). Finally, note that portions of this item are printed on a foil material and is very difficult to accurately photograph, but is quite striking when viewed in person!
