An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Tenth Avenue Angel, the 1948 Roy Rowland New York City juvenile rehabilitation romantic melodrama ("Thrilling story of people who live and love in the shadow on Gangland!"; "Based upon a story by Angna Enters and a sketch by Craig Rice"; about an adorable 8 year-old girl who lives in the slums of New York City and who tries to help those around her) starring Margaret O'Brien, Angela Lansbury, George Murphy, Phyllis Thaxter, and Rhys Williams NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Jacques Kapralik Condition: good to very good. The poster had minor creases along the foldlines and pinholes, creases, scuffs, and smudges around the edges of the poster, with faint water staining across the bottom of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting. Note that after the poster was backed, it was handled roughly, and there are now many creases in the excess linen around the edges of the poster, and a few that extend into the edges of the poster itself.
