Original Vintage Theatrical Lobby Card (Measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

I Cover the War, the 1937 Arthur Lubin North Africa war journalism newspaper reporter action thriller (about a newsreel cameraman going to North Africa to cover an Arab uprising against the British; based on the story by Bernard McConville) starring John Wayne, Gwen Gaze, Don Barclay, James Bush, Pat Somerset, and Charles Brokaw (as El Kadar, the rebel leader)
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: very good. There is a tack hole in the top center of the image (in the tent). There is a tack hole in the image in the middle of the left and another tack hole in the middle of the right. There is a tack hole in the bottom center of the image in the background. There are a pair of staple holes in the blue garment of the veiled person to the left of John Wayne. There is a crease in the left of the bottom blank border and in the top corners. There is a 1/2" tear in the right of the top blank border and a few tack holes in the blank borders. There is smudging in the top right corner. There is a tiny tear in the left of the bottom blank border. None of these many defects are very noticeable or distracting. All could be easily restored, although I would think many people would be happy with the lobby card just as it is.
