If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster is extremely rare! We have only auctioned it once, and that was 25 years ago! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had a 1" x 2" area of paper loss at the middle crossfold, but that was fortunately in the light green area. It had paper loss at the top crossfold (at the bottom of the "R" of "KARLOFF") and it had many tears, creases, and areas of paper loss along parts of all the folds and around the edges of the poster, with a few small scattered tears and areas of paper loss in other parts of the image. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was really nicely backed by a talented professional, because in spite of the many tears and areas of paper loss, the poster displays surprisingly well (but when you look at it very closely, you can clearly see the amount of restoration it has had). It will look great on the new owner's wall, but please bear in mind the extensive restoration it has had (but it was not "painted over", and only the actual defects were restored).
