A Vintage German Hardcover Book (measures 9 1/2" x 12" [24 x 30 cm]; 107 pages) (Learn More) Von Deutscher Filmkunst: Gehalt und Gestalt (literally translates to "About German Cinema: Content and Shape"), the 1943 Heinrich Koch & Heinrich Braune German illustrated book to explore current German film-making. Naturally, there are images from movies by Emil Jannings, but most interesting is a 2-page spread that says "MAGIE DER MASKE" (Magic of the Mask), which has two pictures of the stars of Jud Suss, the infamous Veit Harlan anti-semitic movie, and it has a paragraph about the movie, but it is in German, so we don't know what it says, but it surely is not positive about Jewish people.
