An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #1 (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

In 1946, Paul Terry created a wonderful set of 8 cartoon animation lobby cards from Terry-Toon Cartoons. The set included a great Mighty Mouse card, of Heckle & Jeckle, Oil Can Harry & Pearl Pureheart, Dingbat & Sylvester the Fox, Sourpuss, Dinky, Little Roquefort and Terry Bears. One wishes that the other cartoon studios had thought to issue similar lobby card sets for their cartoon characters!

Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. The card has darkened slightly and there are some dot stains and smudges scattered around the edges. The bottom let quarter of the card is lightly rippled. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! This is the sort of card that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the rippling and small stains can be removed through chemical means, after which the card will look fantastic (although I think many collectors could display this great card on their wall just as it is).
