Never before seen!"; "King of the Monsters"; "Ogres from a black hole in space use monsters to seize Earth!") starring Godzilla, Mechagodzilla II (who has been rebuilt by aliens to return and battle to the end!), Titanosaurus, Katsuhiko Sasaki, Tomoko Ai, and Akihiko Hirata If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This Japanese export poster measures approximately 29" x 40 1/2" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked and during the backing process, its defects were repaired and it now looks nice. From any distance away, you can't see what restoration was done. It may have had only very minor defects, or it may have had more significant defects that were well restored. It is possible that you can see SOME traces of the restoration from a distance, but if so, we clearly note it below. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had creases, small tears, and scuffs on some foldlines and pinholes, creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss around the edges. The poster was well linenbacked. From any distance away it looks fine, but from close up, you can see signs of the restoration. Note that sometime after linenbacking, the poster was roughly handled and there are now creases down the right edge of the poster. The creases are in the excess linen, not in the poster itself.
