An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) A Night of Mystery, the 1928 Lothar Mendes silent romantic love triangle murder melodrama (about a French military officer who is being sent to Africa, and before he goes, he goes to his ex-girlfriend's house to return her love letters, because she is now married, but while there, he sees her husband murdered, and naturally, he is the prime suspect!) starring Adolphe Menjou, Evelyn Brent, Nora Lane, William Collier Jr., Raoul Paoli, and Claude King. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a different scene card, a Belgian poster, and a single still from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There is light scuffing in the jacket of Menjou in the border image at right, as well as in the dark solid colored areas of the inset image at lower left.
