He is widely regarded as one of the most influential electric guitarists in the history of popular music, and one of the most influential musicians of his era. He won several prestigious rock music awards during his lifetime (both as a solo artist and as part of The Jimi Hendrix Experience), and many more posthumously. The Jimi Hendrix Experience was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005. Sadly, he passed away in 1970 at the age of 27 from aspiration associated with barbiturate intoxication (making him part of the infamous '27 Club'). If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss in the top corners and the lower right corner, extending into the background. It had a water stain in the upper right border, extending into the background. It had a few small tears, pinholes, and small paper loss in the rest of the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking.
