He was the son of prizefighter and actor Robert Earl Jones. Some of his movies include: The Great White Hope (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Field of Dreams, Sneakers, and The Lion King (as the voice of Mufasa). He is also the iconic voice of Darth Vader from the Star Wars franchise (which was wonderfully parodied during his guest appearance on TV's "The Big Bang Theory"!). He passed away in 2024 at the age of 93. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by James Earl Jones! It was matted to create a cool 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] display that is ready to frame and hang on the wall. Our consignor is a longtime collector of movie paper who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signature was obtained, and he (and we) believe it is likely that the autograph is authentic. Condition: good to very good. The person who matted this put a small piece of clear tape over each corner of the REPRODUCTION to attach it to the mat, so there is now a piece of clear tape in each corner (see our image).
